Arena Apartments is a stunning set of two architecturally designed towers in the bustling precinct of South Brisbane. The urban location and contemporary design provide a perfect mix of inner city lifestyle and community living. Hutchies was approached by client Galileo Funds Management to undertake the Brisbane development on the strength of our delivery of the award winning Metro Residences in Chatswood, Sydney.

Arena features a mixture of medium to high density streams, with the 191 apartments divided into studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom options. There are also five three bedroom ‘Skyhomes’ featuring magnificent uninterrupted views of the Brisbane skyline. 

Drunken columns at the base of the podium provide Arena with a striking façade that creates an inviting and open urban courtyard along with landscaped areas around the pool, BBQ pavilions, gym and vibrant retail spaces that all connect to the lively West End precinct behind the complex.

Arena was constructed in just 18 months through a D&C contract where Hutchies worked extremely close with developer Galileo, architects Ellivo, and our broad sub-consultant and contractor teams to achieve the high quality outcome within a strict budget and programme.

Prior to the primary buildings construction start, Hutchies was also commissioned to build a custom designed sales office located across the road of the building.
