85runners,oneunforgettableweekend
Team Hutchies hit the pavement at the 2026 Gold Coast Marathon, with around 85 runners taking part across the weekend.
Company members, families and supporters came together for two big days of running, cheering and celebrating.
The Southport office became the main Hutchies hub, giving runners a place to drop bags, refuel, shower and connect before and after their races.
A finish line marquee also gave the crew a front-row spot to cheer runners home.
There were plenty of standout efforts across the weekend.
Melbourne Team Leader Andrew Doyle finished the marathon in 2:45:05, running at a sharp 3’54 pace.
Luke Puxley and Luke Reynolds completed the Fixx Nutrition Gold Coast Double, taking on both the half marathon and full marathon across two days. That is 63.3km in one weekend. Puxley pushed through an injury in the first 10km of the half marathon to finish both races.
Hutchies’ COO Paul Hart finished 35th in his age group with a time of 03:22:09.
The weekend was about more than results. It showed the strength of Hutchies’ culture and the support company members give each other.

The celebrations continued at North Burleigh Surf Club, where runners, supporters, family and friends came together for an after party and awards presentation.
Special mentions included Luke Puxley, who received the fan favourite award for helping set up across both days and finishing both races despite injury. Sean Lees received the Zombie award for pushing through and getting it done.
A huge thank you to Jennifer Hunter and everyone involved in planning the weekend. Thanks also to the Southport crew for hosting the team, and to every runner and supporter who helped make the weekend such a success.
