Hutchies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join our hard working team based in our Cairns office on a permanent full time basis.

#Responsibilities

As a Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise company member adoption and usage of new processes and tools
  • Supervise and manage day-to-day operations including subcontractors, labourers, and materials
  • Ensure projects are planned and delivered according to agreed scope, timelines, and financial targets
  • Attend project sites and participate in sites meetings as needed
  • Ensure construction is carried out accurately in accordance with design plans and quality standards
  • Forecast and plan projects' activities, materials, and resources to ensure efficient execution
  • Closely monitor and manage variations across project lifecycle
  • Oversee the planning, delivery, and tracking of projects progress
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and inspiration for project teams
  • Lead by example and ensure compliance with company culture, rules, and procedures.
  • Proactively plan workflow on daily basis to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Ensure all projects health & safety requirements are met

#Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3 - 5 years site management experience in the construction industry
  • Previous experience managing projects
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of market conditions, construction techniques, and industry standards
  • Proficient in digital tools and technology
  • Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
  • Strong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
  • A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
